Liverpool Injury Updates.

Alberto Moreno returns to training as Liverpool prepares for Man City clash.

Alberto Moreno has returned to Liverpool training today as Jurgen Klopp's side prepare for the test of Manchester City on Sunday.

The full-back has been unavailable since picking up an injury against Spartak Moscow in the Reds' last Champions League group stage fixture last month.

The 25-year-old damaged the tendons in his ankle in the first half of the Champions League fixture, being replaced by James Milner just before the break, and hasn't featured since.

Klopp recently claimed that the full back was on course for a possible comeback against Pep Guardiola's rampant Man City this weekend, and it seems to be the case as the Spaniard has returned to training with the group.

Moreno looked to have taken part in a full session along with his Liverpool teammates as the Reds look to build on their FA Cup victory over Everton last weekend.

Thursday's training session was also the first time the Reds have trained in their new white New Balance training range, which has already proven popular amongst fans.
