''Maybe we won’t smash them but we can do a brilliant job,'' insists Lovren ahead of thier UCL Final against Real Madrid. 












Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has backed his team's aggressiveness and counter pressing tactics ahead of their champions league final against Real Madrid in Kiev. As the the Croatian claims that the Laliga Giants are vulnerable to his team's pace.

Klopp team is filled with young talents but is clearly obvious that Real Madrid squad is filled with qualities as the ousted PSG, Juventus and Bayern Munich to make the Champions 

League final for a third consecutive seasons which they have won it back to back and also looking to extend their dominance against Klopp Liverpool.

Despite the dominance of Real Madrid in the League, its pertinent to know that the Klopp's team deserves much credit  after their shaky start in the group stage before their insurgency and combination of scintillating attack and pace which saw them smashed out their opponents with full dominance.




With Liverpool looking to make it six times European Champions on 26 may in Kiev the Croatian International Lovren dismisses the idea that Liverpool will be the hungrier team as he insists Real Madrid will be ravenous at the thought of a third straight European Cup. However, he does believe Madrid, like so many clubs in this Champions League season, are vulnerable to Liverpool’s pace.

 ''Maybe we won’t smash them but we can do a brilliant job,'' says Lovren. 

''We did it against Manchester City, winning 3-0 at Anfield. We did it against Roma, 5-2. “We beat Porto 5-0 over there. Real Madrid will be careful. 

''They know our front three are quite quick.” Then, he adds with a grin. “If I look into a team-mate’s eyes, and see fear, I will slap him.''

The Croations has endured alot of critics through out his career as he claims that are just making him better.


''When you say I am not good enough, then I will show you. “I don’t know a defender who doesn’t make mistakes and sometimes people make it bigger than it is.''

''I have struggled a lot in my life but the belief was always there. People mocked me when I was at school.'' 

''They mocked me when I was a teenager. They told me I cannot play.''

''They said I didn’t have a left foot and that I am not quick enough. All these small things push me to be better.''

''You say I don’t have a left foot, well I will hit it better today with my left foot.” as he concluded.
