Liverpool's  Xherdan Shaqiri deal edges closer as Stoke City wants Sheyi Ojo and Harry wilson Loan deal.







Liverpool have been linked with the Swiss International this summer due to the team lack of depth in their attack.

Reports suggests that Stoke City would be ready for business with the Reds this summer following their relegation from the Premier League.

The Swiss star is the Potters’ prized asset but won’t be playing Championship football for the club.

Starsport understand Liverpool are confident of getting a deal done for the attacking ace, who has a release clause of around £13m in his contract.

They jet off for a pre-season tour of the USA next week and Jurgen Klopp wants Shaqiri on board before then.

And they could offer up two youngsters to Stoke in a bid to speed along the process of landing the 26-year-old.



Harry Wilson, who yesterday signed a new contract, and Sheyi Ojo are both wanted by the Staffordshire side on loan deals.

Boss Gary Rowett wants to get top talent on board to get Stoke back in the top flight at the first time of asking.

He’s already tied up a deal for striker Benik Afobe while Nigerian midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has also put pen to paper.

Adam Federici has also arrived to bolster their goalkeeping options following the departure of Lee Grant to Manchester United.

Ramadan Sobhi (Huddersfield) and Marc Muniesa (Girona) have both been sold following their relegation.
