''Both teams are similar, they attack hard but we are still hungry'' Says Real Madrid Marcelo.
Real Madrid Marcelo has dismisses any claims that Liverpool are the hungrier side ahead of their Final on Saturday 26 May in Kiev as the Brazilian insists that his team always want to win in every competition the play.
Real Madrid have won the competition back to back in two consecutive season under the charge of their former star man Zinedine Zidane. But will have to be in a balanced shape in-order to withhold Jurgen Klopp's ginger-pressing team.
''Our motivation is to wake up, train, play good football and win every competition we play.''
''Things change, but what hasn’t changed is we are ambitious and hungry to win.''
''We have won a lot, but that is the past and we want to play good football and win more trophies.
''Both teams are similar, they attack hard. We are mindful of what we have to do, but in a final we have to see what will happen then we have to wait to see how it unfolds at the beginning.
''It will be a great show for people who are passionate about football.'' insists Marcelo,
Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp reportedly said Marcelo wasn’t a good defender, though the Brazlian wasn’t in the mood to hit back, and told reporters at his pre-match press conference he is happy with how things are going so far in his career.
''I haven’t head him say it, but heard about it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.''
''I am happy with my work, and as are my teammates, the coach and those with the national team too.''
''I do my work with modesty and humility, and have nothing to prove to anyone.''
The defender also rebuff any suggestion that his team would have Liverpool Mo, Salah to contend with through out the game.
''I know exactly what I have to do, and I know what I need to do to help my team.''
''Liverpool are a magnificent team and have a great season. We have to think about the whole team, not just one or two players, that is how you win games.
''It is a great opportunity to play in the final, and we’re here, as are Liverpool who also deserve it.'' as he concluded.
