'I love Mohammed Salah goal celebration' - Peter Crouch

The former Liverpool man Peter Crouch has labelled Mohammed Salah goal against Manchester City in the Champion League Quarter Final second league as 'out of the world'. as he came from behind to score the long waited goal to seal the tie for his Team.


Crouch took to the Daily Mail where he is a columnist to talk about Mohamed Salah’s equalizing goal against Manchester City at Etihad Stadium.

After receiving a loose ball from Sadio Mane’s take on against Ederson, Salah chipped Otamendi who was the last man in goal to score his eighth goal in the champions league this season.

Crouch started by quoting a retweet from his personal account saying if Salah didn’t panic he would score more goals. The ex-Liverpool striker saw a goalscorer in Mohamed Salah but was lacking the calmness but that changed after he scored against City.

“It is hard to stay in control of your emotions as a striker,” Crouch wrote. “When you get a chance, you can hear the crowd roar and the clatter of seats flipping back and it leads to a surge of adrenaline.”

“99 per cent of players in Salah’s position would have just shot first time. I know I would have. But, again, he took an extra second to compose himself and then produce a dinked finish that was out of this world.”

The 37-year-old striker wasn’t only impressed with the Egyptian’s goal but he loved Salah’s celebration too.

“I loved his celebration, too, when he looked at Liverpool’s fans as if to say: ‘Why were you worried? What else was I going to do?’ It was the mark of the season’s standout player,” as he concluded.
