''Mohamed Salah one of the best in the world,''  says City's Bernardo Silva ahead of their Champions League Tie

Mohammed Salah has being in a scintillating form this season, following his second return to the Premier League after his failed season with Mourinho's Chelsea.

it's quite obvious that the 25-year-old is a ridiculous talent who is fast looking favourite for both PFA Player of the Year and the Golden Boot, while his remarkable scoring surely gives Liverpool real hope of winning the Champions League.

And Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has hail the  in-form Liverpool’s Winger as one of the best players in the world.

Bernardo and City will come up against the in-form Salah in the quarter-finals of the Champions League next month, with the Premier League rivals both eyeing a spot in the last four of the competition.

The Egyptian international took his goals tally in all competition to 36 on Saturday with a four-goal haul in Liverpool’s win against Watford, with Bernardo full of praise for the 25-year-old.

“He’s been having an amazing season. He’s a great player, if not the best then one of the most important players for Liverpool,” Bernardo explained. “It’s great to have some of the best footballers in the world playing against us.

“Of course it’s not easy to play against him, because he’s so good, but it’s good.”

Salah has already shown his quality against the Premier League’s runaway leaders, scoring one and assisting another in Liverpool’s enthralling 4-3 win at Anfield earlier in the season.

Which also caught the eyes of City stars Sane and Ikay Gundogan

That game  and Salah’s display is still fresh in Leroy Sane’s mind. “Salah is a really good player, a strong player, fast and skilful. I like to watch him, he’s a really good player and when he played against us he did a really good game,” the German said.

For Ilkay Gundogan, Salah is the only man who will pose a threat to Kevin De Bruyne in the race for the Premier League’s PFA Player of the Year. “At the moment it feels like there are two players having an incredible season,” the midfielder told Sport360.

“One of them, fortunately, is in our team and that’s Kevin De Bruyne. The second one is Salah. Both of them are playing great. Obviously because I play with Kevin, I wish Kevin the best.”
