Liverpool Loris Karius close to Besiktas loan move.

Besiktas are holding talks to take Loris Karius from Liverpool on loan.

Besiktas are set to land Liverpool out of favour Loris Karius  on a two year loan deal following their sales of  Fabri to Fulham.

Karius played 33 games for the Reds last season, including the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid, but has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield following the arrival of Alisson in a £67m move from Roma.

Jurgen Klopp splashed the cash to sign Alisson from Roma earlier this summer as  Karius is no longer the number one at Anfield following his Champions League final mistakes

Reds boss Klopp is claimed to be willing to let Karius leave if he wants to go, but it remains to be seen under what circumstances Liverpool would agree to a loan.

It is believed Besiktas are willing to pay Liverpool a €1.4m (£1.25m) payment in each year of the loan, plus a flat fee of €2m (£1.79m) at the end of the loan spell.

And it is unclear if Liverpool would be willing to let both Karius and Mignolet leave, a situation which would deplete the backup options for Alisson.

Liverpool cannot make any signings after the Premier League's decision to close its transfer window early this summer; transfer windows remain firmly open across much of Europe.
