Jurgen Klopp Says ''Virgil Van Djik Best is yet to be Witnessed''

Klopp Believes Van Djik Best is yet to come.

After Being left out of the Midweek win against Huddersfield. Jurgen Klopp has quickly come in defence of his Record Signing [Van Djik], Stating that he's likely not going to deliver at the moments but would a super heat next Season.

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp Believes that the £75 million defender is still looking to adapts to a new environment after coming back from a long injury absence and also not playing much role with the Saints before his big money Move.

Klopp will be looking  forward to reintroduced The 26years old in the Line up as his team prepare to face Top 4 Rivals Tottenhamon  on Super-Sunday.

“It is just exactly as it would be. A few ups and downs and we will see Virgil van Dijk at his best after the summer, but if we don't have the time to wait until then and why should we?” said Klopp.

“He can bring in a lot of things already. We've had a lot of talks already but it is quite difficult because our defending style – and I know how this sounds – is different to Southampton or to Holland so that's why it makes so much sense you get used to it.

“For example (against) Everton it was outstanding, City he couldn't play, Swansea was good – defensively we were really good – and he was involved in the three biggest chances we had, his own header and two passes for Mo and Roberto, West Brom was a bad game of the whole team and then we thought it made sense to rotate''.

''At the moment it is like I expect to be honest, completely normal.”

Klopp says Van Dijk was not 100 per cent fit when he moved to Liverpool, and the difficulties of the last 12 months at Southampton took a toll.

“It was purely a physical thing,” he said.

“When Virgil came here he was not fit, that is the truth because he had a long injury, then he played, then he was injured, then the transfer was kind of an open case and he didn't play for Southampton so it was not a consistent season so far.

''I don't know long enough to say 'Yes you can play all three days' in this moment so we had the opportunity with Dejan (Lovren) – who was ill before but back in training – so we had two completely fit players.

“That is why they played and Virgil didn't play. I spoke to him and he expected it. He is still a new player but you cannot train in a Premier League match so we need to use the time between the matches and in the matches we have to deliver.

''At Huddersfield even when it looked afterwards like we were quite comfortable we did not know before the game it would be this kind of game for the defence.

"The biggest difference from Huddersfield to Swansea was counter-pressing.

''I think they (Huddersfield) used the Swansea game for analysis so the biggest difference was our counter-pressing and that is easier to defend. In the next game it will be similar or even better.”

A win on Sunday with the Dutch-man on the Line up would be a major boost for both the defender and jurgen Klopp as he prepares to make a judicious use of the Premier league huge man.
