Jordan Henderson Believes Liverpool are in Good shape  for Some 'Payback' ahead of their Crunch clash against Tottenham 
























Liverpool Skipper Jordan Henderson Reckons that his Team are back to business. After being rocked by horror defeat in the hands of the relegation fighter Swansea. followed by a shock elimination from The FA cup in the hands of the Baggies.


Liverpool ran out an impressive display on Tuesday game against Huddersfield, looking dominance through out the entire minutes and the returning Skipper beliefs his team are in good shape to take on Top 4 rivals Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday.

Liverpool Receives their second highest mantling back in October in the hands of the top 4 Rivals at Wembley. and will be hoping for payback when the welcome the visitor at their own ground Anfield.


“We’ve got a big game on Sunday against a very good side,” Henderson said.

“They’ve got fantastic players and it will be a big test, but one I think we are ready for.

“We need to make sure that we put in performances like we did at Huddersfield on a regular basis. It will be tough but we should be full of confidence going into that game.















“We’re really excited to see what we can do over these last few months of the season. We need to keep improving.”


Henderson was highly praised by Jurgen Klopp after shining on his return to the line up against Huddersfield. It was the England midfielder’s first start since he limped off with a hamstring injury against Arsenal before Christmas.

“I’ve been out for a little while so it was nice to be back out on the pitch,” he added.

“The results and performances over the previous two games were something we have been disappointed with. It was a good game for us to show we can put it right and I thought we did that.

“It was a good performance. I thought we started well. Being patient on the ball was probably the main thing we needed to do and I thought we did that brilliantly.

“We kept the ball well, scored the first goal and kept doing that to get the second one. Then second half, we just tried to kill the game off.



“Clean sheets are important for us so to get one away from home was very pleasing. We need to continue that mentality. We’re a great set of lads and the togetherness is really good.”

Liverpool completed the deal of their top target Virgil Van Djik in the early January transfer Window. Making him highest Bought Defender. and also Accepting Defeat by allowing their key Man [Coutinho] makes his dream  move to Barcelona.
