News Updates

Liverpool FC legend Steven Gerrad expects his former team-mate Emre Can to leave Anfield in the summer.

Emre Can Impresses onces again as he scores the opener and won a second-half penalty in a man of the match Display in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town on Tuesday  Premier league night.

He has already Pledge to do nothing but the best when called upon as he's currently on the last few months of his contract.

The 24years old's future has been a source of relentless debate over the past few months as the versatile midfielder edges closer to a possible free transfer at the end of the season.

The  has less than six months remaining on his current deal and Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool hasn’t been able to convince Can to sign a contract extension at the Anfield outfit.

Serie A giants Juventus have been heavily linked with a swoop to sign the former Bayern Munich midfielder in the summer when Can could conceivably be a free agent.

Liverpool Legend Gerrard  has already concluded that he has lost hope that Can will still be a Reds player at the start of the 2018-19 Premier League campaign.

“I think Liverpool have made him a better player and in Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff I think they are perfect for him,” Gerrard said on BT Sport.

“I can’t make decisions for Emre Can but for me, in his shoes, I would be a bit more patient with Liverpool and I would hang on.

I think Liverpool – the club and the fans – have a lot of belief in him.

“I think you can see that he’s been asked the question many times and if he had decided he was going to stay at Liverpool, I think everyone would know that by now.

“You still have that little bit of hope as a Liverpool fan that he might change his mind but for me, for it to go to the back end of January it’s a concern.”

Liverpool has completed the signing of RB LEIPZIG midfielder Naby Keita who in no question can be a perfect replacement of the young German  when he finally runs out of his contract by the end of the season.
