Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is Arguably the best player in the Premier League at the moment - Danny Murphy

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah scored twice again, this time  as  a substitute to sink struggling Stoke last night last night.

The Egyptian winger has been in stunning form since his summer switch from Roma, scoring 17 goals for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

He grabbed two of those as a substitute during last night’s 3-0 win at struggling Stoke and Murphy was surprised the former Chelsea man didn’t start the game.

“Unbelievable,” he said on Match of the Day.

“He’s obviously playing better than anybody else in the Premier League at the moment in some respects.

“I was thinking before this is a risk not having him on the pitch but the quality they’ve got in attacking areas.

“He’s obviously playing better than anybody else in the Premier League at the moment in some respects.” Match of the Day pundit Danny Murphy
“What a pass it was from Mane (for Salah’s first goal) and what a volley. That’s a confident man, a really confident player.

“To hit that so sweetly and then he makes the one-on-one look easy a few minutes later.

If you can leave (Philippe) Coutinho on the bench with Salah away at Stoke on a cold Wednesday night you’ve got some good options, haven’t you?”

Liverpool are now unbeaten in five league games and sit fifth in the table, six points shy of second-placed Manchester United. The will be  traveling  to high-flying Brighton on Saturday.
