Carabao Cup: Liverpool to host Chelsea; Frank Lampard's Derby County get Manchester United.

Liverpool will host Chelsea while Frank Lampard's Derby County will visit Manchester United following the third-round draw for the Carabao Cup held on Thursday.

Holders of the most League Cup titles at eight, Liverpool last met Chelsea in the 2015 semifinals, a 2-1 aggregate win for the Blues.

Lampard, the former Chelsea and Manchester City player, will get a tough test at Old Trafford in his first season as manager with the Championship side.

Defending champions Manchester City will visit League One side Oxford United.

Tottenham Hotspur "applied for a special dispensation from the EFL Board" to find a neutral site for their match against Watford, cup organisers said, because of the unavailability of Wembley on that date and ongoing construction delays to their new stadium.

The other all-Premier League matchups are Leicester City at Wolverhampton and Everton hosting Southampton.

The third round will be played during the week of Sept. 24.
