SADIO MANE HIGHLIGHT THE IMPORTANCE'S OF MO, SALAH IN LIVERPOOL

After his second return to England the wild winger has since being absolutely sensational with his new club. which has seen him scoop the Liverpool player of the Month back to back for August and September.

The Egyptian slotted seamlessly into Liverpool’s front three alongside Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane but has been the standout performer with 12 goals in 17 games, seven coming in the Premier League.

There was some trepidation surrounding his move after a his previous stint in the Premier League proved unsuccessful at Chelsea. 

But he has proved his doubters wrong and is now an integral part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

The pair slotted nicely in Jurgen Klopp new 4 - 4 - 2 combination.

And Mane has been hugely impressed by Salah’s instant impact at Anfield, although he believes there is still more to come from the 25-year-old. 

''Mo is a great lad and an incredible player,'' Mane told Goal. 

“It is good that he has settled in so easily and there is so much more still to come from him. 

''We get on well and I enjoy playing with him, but that’s the same with everyone. We have a very exciting team and we all want to help the club be successful.''

The Pair were nominated on the 2017 BBC African Best Player Awards with Naby Keita of Leipzig who has already sign a contract with Liverpool for next summer and Chelsea Victor Moses and also the last year Bundesliga highest goal scorer Aubameyang of Dortmund. 

The winner would be announced on 11 Dec.
