Philippe Coutinho has won nothing with Liverpool, he’s not as good as people say - Neto

At least that’s the verdict of former Brazil international Neto, who revealed his take on the playmaker on Os Donos da Bola.
Coutinho’s future was the subject of intense speculation this summer, with Barcelona desperate to get him on-board.
And their keenness to sign the 25-year-old up as one of Neymar’s replacements came off the back of him establishing a reputation as one of the Premier League’s top creative forces.
Coutinho has drawn plaudits from all over the world for his performances at Anfield, particularly under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

Neto pinpointed Philippe Coutinho's lack of success with Liverpool
One of his countryman hasn’t been as impressed as many other onlookers though.
Speaking on Brazilian TV show Os Donos da Bola, Neto said: "So you know, how many titles has he won with Liverpool? None.
"Just to make it clear to you, because it seems that Philippe Coutinho is Zico, he’s Socrates, who did not win the World Cup. But they deserved to win.
"But Philippe Coutinho is not all that you're talking about. Calm down, slow down. He is a very good player, only he has not won a World Cup for us. But he is a very good player. I prefer Renato Augusto."
Coutinho is yet to feature for Liverpool this season due to a combination of injury and illness.
Klopp will be hoping to have him back among his ranks for Saturday’s showdown with Manchester City.
