Breaking news: Liverpool Officially open negotiations with Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - report
Publish 30 -08-2017 by yayoLiverpool have opened talks with Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
The Kop are looking to do a deal for the Gunners contract rebel before tomorrow’s 11pm deadline.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has rejected the chance to move to Chelsea after they agreed a £40m fee for his signature.
It has been widely reported that he was holding out for a move to Liverpool.
And with talks underway he could be about to get his wish.
The Liverpool Echo say talks have started between the two Premier League giants for the England midfielder who has less than a year left on his contract at The Emirates.
Arsenal told the Kop earlier this summer that Oxlade-Chamberlain was not for sale.
However, after agreeing a deal with Chelsea they have rowed back on that stance.
Chamberlin making it to liverpoll means Origi needs to find greener pasture |
At the moment it unclear if Liverpool are willing to match Chelsea’s offer.
But after making his stance at Arsenal clear, Oxlade-Chamberlain will be desperate for terms to be agreed.
The Echo add that the former Southampton man is desperate to work with Jurgen Klopp and feels the German would take his game to the next level.
with the reds fully boosted with much attacking talent, getting Chamberlin now is adding more salt to the injury,
with his pace and dribbling strength he will definitely take the team to much more advanced level even as a super-sub
notwithstanding, the reds will still be expected to add more force at the back in order for consistencies and also to help protect the much needed help the Cameroonian Strong guy (matip), urgently in need for.
Going so rapidly for van djik is the much better solution the Anfield faithful strongly need.
