Danny Ings In Line to make his first Liverpool start in two years on Saturday.

Danny Ings longstanding Anfield dreams has been dealt with, as a result of several injuries but is now in line to star in the Reds’ FA Cup fourth round encounter with West Brom this weekend.

Jurgen Klopp is expected to ring the changes for the visit of Alan Pardew’s side to Anfield as the hosts face a trip to Huddersfield just three days later.

Among those expected to be handed a rare outing is Ings, who last led the line for Liverpool in a Merseyside derby draw with Everton in October 2015.

But Klopp has been impressed with the striker’s recovery from undergoing two major knee operations and is considering rewarding that effort.

“He is in really good shape to be honest,” said Klopp.

“Danny is doing really well and the fact that we don’t give him a loan or something else shows what are plans with him.“It’s been a difficult time for him, the first day I came in he got a bad injury and since then it was ups and downs.

“Meanwhile, physically, he is completely there. I don’t remember the last session when Danny wasn’t involved.

“He’s still a young boy with plenty of good years; it’s a good situation for him and us at the moment.”

Ings vs Norwich
It will come as know surprise if Ings repay his faith with Klopp by finding the net during the encounter, which can at least revive his dreams of making a name for himself and also force a way back  into Klopp starting Eleven.
