Can has entered the final year of his existing deal at Anfield and agreeing a new contract has proved problematic over the past 12 months.

However, Klopp remains confident that the 23-year-old will commit himself to the Reds and he's planning for the new season with Can on board.

- klopp speaking on can's contract talk..

'you can imagine we're involved in talks and we all feel good and confident in this moment", he told the Liverpool Echo.

"That means they're not the worst talks but until anything is done or signed there's nothing to say.

'Emre is a very important player for us. we don't want to sell or lose players who are in our first line up or closed to it.

QUESTION:   Should we let him go?
