Tottenham Harry Kane fire direct warning to Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool after Manchester United win.

Tottenham ousted Jose Mourinho's Manchester United on Monday evening and came away with a 3-0 win, as the English striker gave Spurs the lead, while two goals from Lucas Moura helped make it three wins from three for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who are now level on top of the table with Liverpool.

When asked why he thought more people seemed to be touting Liverpool as potential title challengers rather than Spurs, Kane stated,

“People will be talking about Liverpool and those kind of teams and but they will have to put their money where their mouth is,” he said

“That’s massive to come here and win the way we did, it’s a big statement. We wanted to start the season well and got three wins out of three. It’s been a fantastic start.”

In January, Liverpool made Virgil van Dijk the world’s most expensive defender,  this summer have seen Jurgen klopp and his transfer team made a brilliant move in acquiring the service of Alisson from Roma, Shaqiri and the addition of the midfield duo of Naby Keita (Leipzig) and Fabinho(Monaco).

Liverpool have procured one of the best world football’s most prodigious young midfielders. Rest assured, whatever the Premier League is expecting, teams won’t know what hit them.

In fairness to Spurs, there’s been little said about their chances of winning the title because they didn’t buy a single player in the summer – but they’re a genuinely excellent side with class all over the pitch.

Liverpool will play them Tottenham on 15th following the international break, it kicks off at 12:30 and is at Wembley.
