Mohamed Salah Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy praised the club’s winger Mohamed Salah after an outstanding start at the Anfield.
The Egyptian international has been repeatedly hailed by a number of current and former Liverpool players since completing his move to the Anfield side in July.
Salah had a fantastic debut month in the English Premier League with Liverpool scoring three goals and making two assists. He then won Liverpool’s Standard Chartered Player of the Month award for August.
“He’s got goals and assists. He’s hit the ground running,” Murphy told BBC Sport hailing the young Pharaoh following his stunning performance against Arsenal.
Liverpool currently occupy the fifth league spot with seven points after suffering a harsh 5-0 defeat to Manchester City. Salah started the match and was replaced at half-time by new signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Liverpool will be facing up Sevilla in their first ever champion league appearance since 2014 on Wednesday, were the reds are expected to make up for their lost against the visitors on the Europa league final.
The tie will also demand some superb performance from Klopp team in order to relieve the Anfield faithful (fans) from their weekend heavy defeat against Man city.
